The goal for this short course period is to create an understanding the challenges of designing orientation sytems for printed matter, public space and digital media.
Students will learn how to how to generate user guidance in complex spacial settings and in a GUI. After a series of small tasks, students can choose between two main assignements: The first assignment has a focus on Information Design, for those who plan to continue their studies with a focus on printed matter. The other task is connected to a brief introduction into Interaction Design, for students planning to focus on digital media.
